In pictures: Hundreds of motorbikes roar across county for boy, 6, with tumour

Alfie was found to have a brain tumour aged one which impaired the development of his vision, and now aged six, he has bravely been through two rounds of chemotherapy.

Today, Alfie’s friends, family and supporters are raising money for Polegate’s Children with Cancer charity at a fundraising event at The Windsor Tavern, Eastbourne, from 12.30pm onwards.

One of the main events of the day saw hundreds of motorbikes set off from West Rise school in Eastbourne on a trip that will see them cruise from through Lewes, Newhaven, Seaford, and other picturesque spots, all to raise donations for Alfie and Children with Cancer.

The 42-mile route finishes back near The Windsor Tavern where the fundraising activities will continue.
